In 2013, opinion surveys were conducted concerning materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement.
In 2014, a Qualitative & Quantitative Survey (Company Reputation Monitor), in local communities, took place.
The materiality analysis & stakeholders engagement researches were repeated in 2015 and 2018 (planned every two years) with the aim of better co-operation with local communities, impact assessment and the creation of programs to meet the needs and aspirations of local communities . Surveys, regular communications and consultations, are not limited to the 2-year data collection on materiality but are also used to identify infrastructure investments and other actions for the benefit of local communities, and to understand the significant indirect impacts on local level. The evaluation of the conclusions leads to the redesigning of actions. It was noted that local communities expect actions focusing on supporting the unemployed, providing health services, supporting the elderly and generally vulnerable groups.
Furthermore, during the design phase of a new investment, a provision is made for direct and indirect impacts.
Moreover, the operational planning of any investment pays attention to the study of direct and indirect impacts on the local community.
